CHOOSE A VIEW.
Focus, Grid, Loop, and Compare share the current document and editing state. Compare adds a session-only fork you can edit beside the original and play with it.
Drawing one frame with onion skin for context.
Comparing several frames.
Editing frames side by side.
Fine detail on one frame.
Watching the animation at full speed.
Drawing. Switch back to Focus or Grid.
Editing two versions side by side, then playing them together.
Small screens, where the editors stack instead of staying side by side.
HOW TIPS WORK.
Twenty-seven tips are tied to editing actions. They appear one at a time without blocking the canvas, stop repeating, and can be dismissed forever.
The red ghost is your previous frame. Draw where things have moved to, not where they were.
Tip #02Pixel animation often runs at 6 to 10 FPS. Raising the frame rate means drawing more frames. Good in-betweens matter more than speed.
Tip #09Compare opens an independent fork beside your current animation. Save or export the fork, or apply it when you prefer it.
Tip #27
EXPORT OPTIONS.
The sprite sheet export is tested against Phaser and Godot workflows. Autosaves stay in your browser, and project files stay on your disk.
